Folalabi Global Trading Limited is an independent import–export and logistics company based in Lagos, Nigeria, working closely with farmers, processors and commodity suppliers to move African food items and agricultural products to international markets.

The company is part of the wider Folalabi group and is affiliated with Folalabi Farms (Nigeria) Limited and Folalabi Farms (UK) Limited. Through these affiliates and our partner networks, we have direct insight into agricultural production, post-harvest handling and the realities of local supply chains.

From our base in Ajao Estate, Lagos State, we coordinate sourcing, quality checks, aggregation, documentation and logistics for serious buyers looking for Nigerian-origin products. This includes core food staples such as yams, garri and yam flour, as well as cocoa, selected grains and other cash crops.

Our focus is on building realistic, sustainable trading relationships rather than short-term, one-off deals. That means being upfront about what is achievable, the timelines involved and the regulatory environment for each destination market.

How we typically work with clients

• You share your product brief covering items, grades, volumes, frequency and destination port.
• We review realistic options from Nigeria (and where appropriate, other West African origins), including regulatory considerations.
• Where needed, we discuss samples, specifications, packaging and inspection requirements.
• Once scope is agreed, we move to quotation, timelines and the practical logistics plan (sea or air, FCL or LCL).
• During execution, we keep you informed on documentation, loading status and shipment updates.
